Burgers are great. I love a nice big juicy burger. But sometimes, it is nice to have a variation. For example, Greek lamb burgers are awesome. Vegetarian aloo tikki burgers are awesome. And now, so are chicken tandoori burgers. They are seriously easy to make, and they are full of flavor, not to mention… they don’t come with the guilt of a regular fatty burger. I highly suggest you use a coriander mint yogurt chutney as a condiment. You won’t regret it.
- 1 lb ground chicken
- the juice of one lemon
- 1/3 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/2 tsp garlic paste
- 2-3 tbsp tandoori masala powder or paste
- 2 tsp oil or ghee
Combine all ingredients except oil and shape into patties. Heat oil on medium. Cook patties around 4-5 minutes on each side until done. It may take a little longer for bigger patties.
