Happy Easter, Happy Holi! Deviled eggs, Sriracha style!

We have two holidays approaching… Easter and Holi. Holi is the Festival of Colors, and Easter, well it is full of colors. So in celebration of both, I have killed two birds (pardon the unintentional pun) with one stone.

This recipe is a twist on regular deviled eggs. I don’t like any of those crunchy things in my eggs (pickles), so I leave them out. But feel free to adjust the ingredients to your liking.

Enjoy!

Ingredients:

  • Eggs, hard boiled (I used 4)
  • 1 tsp spicy mustard
  • 1 tbsp mayo
  • dash of salt
  • dash of pepper
  • 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes
  • 1/2 tsp dried onion flakes
  • 1 tbsp Sriracha
  • food coloring

To Make:

Slice the eggs in half and reserve the yolk in a bowl.

Set up the food coloring for the eggs. I used plastic cups, filled them half with water, then added different colors to each. Stirred, then added the eggs to each cup. Let sit until desired color is achieved.

Dry on paper towel.

In the bowl with yolks, add the mayo, mustard, salt, pepper, red pepper flakes, onion flakes, and Sriracha. Stir until creamy. Spoon into empty eggs.

Super easy and oh so delicious!

  1. Those are amazing. I often devil eggs AFTER Easter with the left overs that were dyed. But why not go all in and dye them with the express purpose of consumption. Love it.

    • I know right?!? They would make for a pretty party snack! I have been munching on them all day. Trying not to eat them all!
