I love cilantro. I especially love coriander chutney. I’d probably call this sauce, because chutney is typically more thick, but really every household has their own way of making things. This sauce is good for any kind of dipping, especially tandoori chicken or samosas or pakodas. There are different kinds of coriander chutney, but this kind uses yogurt. It is really easy to make, and is nice and refreshing.
Ingredients:
- 1 bunch of cilantro
- 1 green chili
- salt to taste
- squirt of lemon juice
- 1/4 tsp ginger paste or a small chunk of fresh whole ginger
- 1/2 tsp chaat masala
- 1/4 tsp roasted cumin powder
- 1/4-1/2 cup yogurt
To Make:
In a blender, blend all ingredients except for yogurt. Add to a bowl, stir in yogurt. Add more for a creamier consistency. Thin out with water if desired.
